About the Role:

Join Tradition Home Health Care as a Home Health Aide in Brooklyn, NY, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. We are committed to providing compassionate, personalized care, and we are looking for dedicated individuals who share our passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
Remind clients to take medications
Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Document clients' progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities.
Follow care plans and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:

Must have a valid Home Health Aide certification in New York State.
Previous experience in home health care or a similar role is required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with clients effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
Must pass background checks and drug screening.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
