About the Role:
Join Tradition Home Health Care as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients in Brooklyn, NY. We are looking for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support in a home setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and record clients' health status and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Help with light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a safe environment.
- Support clients with mobility and transportation needs.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold clients' rights and dignity.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance caregiving skills.
Requirements:
- Valid Home Health Aide certification in New York State.
- Previous experience in home health care or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and health care practices.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and health screenings.

Compensation: $19.50 - $22.00 per hour
