About the Role:
Join Tradition Home Health Care as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients in Brooklyn, NY. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide essential support and care to those in need.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Administer medications and monitor health status as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
- Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to supervisors.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Requirements:
- Valid HHA or PCA certification in New York State.
- Previous experience in home health care or a similar role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety practices in caregiving.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and health screenings.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation: $19.10 - $22.00 per hour
