About the Role:
Join Tradition Home Health Care as a Bilingual English/Spanish Home Health Aide (HHA) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide essential support and care in the comfort of our clients' homes in Brooklyn, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Administer medication and monitor client health as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Help with meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document client progress and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations while delivering care.
- Utilize bilingual skills to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking clients and families.
Requirements:
- Valid Home Health Aide certification in New York State.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
- Previous experience in home health care or a related field is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
- Must pass background checks and health screenings as required.

Compensation: $19.65 - $22.00 per hour
