About the Role:
Join Tradition Home Health Care as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) in Brooklyn, NY! In this rewarding role, you'll provide essential support to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being while making a meaningful impact in their lives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Monitor clients' health conditions.
- Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
- Document clients' progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Follow care plans and maintain communication with family members and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in training and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Valid HHA or PCA certification in New York State.
- Previous experience in home health care or a related field preferred.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to client care.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and assist clients with mobility.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations.
- Background check and references required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation: $19.65 - $22.00 per hour
